Books, youtube channels, website and helpful stuff :)

Hey guys
This will prob be a short one today but im trying to kick my butt into doing regular blogs :D
As you know ive finished my back log of sketch dailies stuff so ive scanned them all in ready as under drawings to start painting them. YAY!
Doing a couple things to prepare for digital painting and get some hints and tips
Firstly im ready this book (which ive mentioned before)
"A beginners guide to digital painting in photoshop" by 3dtotal. Its on amazon here:

It firstly explains how to properly set up a document in photoshop. Some may find this a bit dated but a basic knowledge of photoshop and your PC and you can work out the modern equivalent. I use a Mac so this was a bit more confuddling for me haha
Dont be put off though the tutorials are really and it gives great explanations of color theory and traditional methods. VERY USEFUL

Ive also bookmarked this and im going to have a go at it tomorrow. I wouldnt personally use it for game art but it looks like it could be could practise. Dunno if itll help you guys but here you go, dont say i dont give you stuff haha :)

Tutsplus.com seems to be a pretty awesome site too so have alook at some other stuff on there :)

Also come across a learn to code site which looks pretty handy. I will prob check it out in the future
